Itinerary

Welcome at the airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Free for walking around the guild streets in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Opera House. Overnight in Hanoi

AM: 8h15-8h30, Our guide will pick you up from your hotel. Depart to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his former residence. Visiting One Pillar Pagoda The pagoda was first built in 1049 under the Ly dynasty Its original name was Dien Huu, expressing the wish for longevity for the second Ly King. The pagoda is built in the shape of a lotus blooming on its stem. Then visit Quan Thanh  Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, The Temple of Literature-Van Mieu  Quoc Tu Giam  is not only a symbol of Confucianism but also an extremely significant cultural and historical vestige of Vietnam and of Hanoi in particular.

After breakfast you check out and leave your luggage in the hotel, get ready for the trip .Trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Day tribes then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village, which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area. Have a picnic lunch on the way. You go back to Sapa by motorbike/jeep. Overnight in Sapa.

There are 2 options for you to choose, today:
Option 1- Take a jeep tour to Silver Waterfall and Heaven’s Gate Pass (the highest Pass of Vietnam, over 2,000m high); enjoy the “bird eyed” view of the surrounding valleys.
Option 2- If on Sunday, the trip to Bac Ha Market can’t be missed. Leave Sapa early for a 3 hours driving to Bac Ha. Join in the biggest and most colorful Market of the tribal people in this region. Every weekend, the H’mong, Zao, Phu La people in their best traditional costumes go to the market not only for shopping but also for meeting, socializing… Late afternoon, back to the railways station for night train to Hanoi.

Day 06 : Early arrive in Hanoi - Full day excursion to Halong Bay (B/L)

Early arrival in Hanoi. A visit of the only-early flower market in Hanoi before breakfast. Then an excursion to Halong city to take 4 hours boat cruising around the World Heritage Site of Halong Bay famous with thousands of Rock formations, jutting out from emerald water. Drop in Thien Cung cave, beautifully decorated cave by thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. Sea food lunch on boat. Drive back and overnight in Hanoi.

Flight to Danang. Visit Cham Sculpture Museum, China Beach, Marble Mountain, Rock carving workshop… Proceed to Hoi An, the World Cultural Heritage. On foot to explore Hoi An town. Visit Hoi An museum, old merchants’ house, Assembly hall, Japanese covered Bridge. Walk along the bank of the lively Thu Bon River, once prosperous and famous as a trading port. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 08 : Hoi An - My Son Holy Land (B)

Transfer overland northwards for about 5 hours to Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Take some stops for “bird eyed” view and photogenic scenery.
 Afternoon, sightseeing in Hue to the Ancient Imperial Citadel, a complex of palaces and temples built by the Nguyen from early 19th Century for which Hue was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.Late in the afternoon, enjoy a leisure boat-ride along the scenic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda. Free in the evening to see Hue by night. Overnight in Hue.

Day 10 : Hue - Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Take a short drive to visit the mausoleum of King Tu Duc - a replica of  the King’s palace but built purposely for the next incarnation before flight to Ho Chi Minh City at noon. Free time for relaxing. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11 : Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho (B,L)

An early depart for My Tho. Take the boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal, view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river sides. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy the nice boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruise under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit the family where you can experience the agricultural lifestyle. Trekking through the fruit plantation in Thoi Son island, enjoy the rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motorised boat. Proceed to Can Tho. Free at leisure in the evening.Over night in Can Tho. (Ninh Kieu Hotel)

Day 12 : Can Tho - Cai Rang - Long Xuyen - Chau Doc (B)

Breakfast at hotel.(Early morning) Take a three hour boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market. Roam into the villages to visit the rice paper mill, the rice noodles. Return to Can Tho. Proceed to Chau Doc via Long Xuyen visit Crocodiel farm. Check in on arrival. Visit the Sam Moutain, the caved pagoda, Enjoy the sunset over the Vietnamese - Cambodian Frontier. Dinner on guests account. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Chau Doc.

Breakfast at hotel. Take the morning boat trip to visit the floating fish farm and the floating village, the Cham weaving village. Drive to Sai Gon. Finish the trip around 18h00. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 14 : Departure from Ho Chi Minh (B)

• Hotel accommodation based on twin or triple share with daily breakfast (incl: services charges, room taxes and baggage handling)
