Day 01 : Welcome to Vietnam - Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (D)

Greetings at the airport, transferred to hotel. Acclimatizing yourself with a  walking tour around downtown of Ho Chi Minh city the biggest city in Vietnam.
Welcome dinner with Vietnamese dishes hosted by Opentour-Sinhcafe Travel.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 02 : Ho CHi Minh City tour (B)

Full day sightseeing tour and visit to the most famous and important landmarks of Saigon: The former Presidential Palace, War Remnant Museum, Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral - two of the city's architectural landmarks. And later onto Cho Lon, Saigon's China Town with the famous Binh Tay market and Thien Hau pagoda. A short walk from Ben Thanh market along bustling street, passing by Rex hotel, City Hall and Opera House to close your day. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 03 : Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B)

Explore Mekong delta with unique lifestyle of inhabitants living along rivers and channels. Transfer overland to My Tho, take a boat-cruise along rivers and canals, through villages. Visit fruit and bonsai gardens, candy workshop and local homes. Enjoy local delicacy, fruit and traditional folk music. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 04 : Ho Chi Minh City - Danang - Hoi An (B)

Take a morning flight to Danang. Visit Cham sculpture museum, Marble Mountains, China Beach, before proceeding to Hoi An. On foot to visit the World Heritage Site of Hoi An. A peaceful wandering through the narrow streets with centuries-old architectures, combining the influences of many exotic trading communities such as Chinese, Japanese,… Visit Hoian Museum, old merchant’s houses, Assembly hall, Japanese covered bridge and lively boat pier near the market...
Food, tailors and beach are of your choices for the rest of the day. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 05 : Hoi An - Hue (B)

Morning free for some last minutes shopping before leaving behind the peaceful and charming Hoi An. Transfer overland northwards along highway 1A, passing Hai Van pass, Lang Co beach to Hue. Stops for “bird eyed” view and photogenic scene. Arrive Hue in time for a romantic boat cruise upstream Perfume River. Paying visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, Buddhist center of the region and the spiritual symbol of Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 06 : Hue sightseeing (B)

Being Capital of Vietnam from beginning of 19th Century, Hue is famous for its historical, cultural relics, unique eastern architectures, arts and religion revealed on Royal Palaces and Tombs, Temples, music and performances... for which Hue was recognized a World Cultural Heritage. Tour Hue including visit to Imperial Citadel, the Purple Forbidden City, Royal Palaces and Temples. Later on, continue the day with a short drive to King Tu Duc’s Tomb, a resemble of the royal court palace, built long time before the King’s death. The architectures here express the King’s disappointment and helplessness towards the invasion of the French over the country. Overnight in Hue. 

Day 07 : Hue - Hanoi (B)

Transfer to airport for short flight to Hanoi. On arrival at Hanoi, we are met  at airport and accompanied to hotel. Afternoon, we acclimatize ourselves with a tour on 'cyclo' in the downtown of Hanoi. Evening is highlighted by the water puppet performance, a traditional form of Vietnamese art. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 08 : Hanoi (B)

Morning, starting transfer nearly 200km to Halong Bay, through the countryside of the Red River Delta with peaceful scenery of villages, green rice paddies and farmers working here and there to cultivate their lands with buffaloes…And go on board for 4 hour cruising, which affords us the spectacle of the nature - Halong Bay, the Vietnam's most scenic site and the unique World's Wonder. We explore its natural beauty and cave. Overnight in Halong Bay.

Day 09 : Halong Boat cruise - Hanoi - Luang Prabang (B)

Morning, four-hour cruise around the World Natural Heritage site amid limestone formations of all sizes and shapes, jutting up the emerald water of the sea. Admire the beauty of nature and the uniqueness of Halong Bay. Back to Hanoi for flight to Luang Prabang - a former capital of Laos, now has been recognized the World Heritage Site. Meet and transfer to hotel for overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 10 : Luang Prabang (B)

Tour of town with visiting to Wats: Visounalat, known as "the Watermelon Stupa"; the ornate Wat Mai; and Wat Xieng Thong, an exquisite 400 year old royal monastery complex. In late afternoon, climb up Phousi Hill, with its derelict anti - aircraft gun and revered shrine, for great view and sunset over the Mekong and mountains beyond. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 11 : Luang Prabang (B)

Day starts early by witnessing long lines of barefoot monks in procession through the streets of Luang Prabang. Then Mekong River trip on motorboat to the holy caves Pak Ou, a mystical pilgrimage site above the river. Herein this cave, for over five centuries, people of all status as kings, princes, merchants, and peasants... have came to the cave for worshipping and leaving behind more than 3,000 Buddha statues. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 12 : Luang Prabang - Vientiane (B)

Visit the former King's Palace, now a national museum and the central market.
Afternoon flight to Vientiane - the capital of Laos. Welcomed at Wattay Airport and transferred to hotel. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 13 : Vientiane City tour (B)

Morning is City tour visiting the Great Sacred Stupa - That Luang, Wat Phra Keow, Wat Sisaket and the Arc de Triumph. Afternoon visit the museum of victory and the center market. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 14 : Vientiane - Phnom Penh (B)

Visit local market before driving to airport for flight to Phnom Penh. Then take an orientation walk around the center of Phnom Penh, the Capital city of Cambodia. Free in the evening. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 15 : Phnom Penh City tour (B)

Morning city tour: Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Royal Palace, Independent Monument Afternoon tour: Wat Phnom, Central Market and join an hour cruise on Chaktomouk river, window view of floating villages, fishing boat and beauty of Mekong delta. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 16 : Speed - boat to Siem Reap (B)

Take speed-boat to Siem Reap. Welcome at the boat station in Siem Reap and transfer to hotel in Siem Reap.
Afternoon, explore the ancient Angkor City from the Southern Gate of Angkor Thum to World Wonder of Angkor Wat Temples. Enjoy sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hill late afternoon. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 17 : Siem Reap (B)

Today’s visit includes: Pre Rup, Mebon, Tasom, Neak Poan and Preah Khan Temples. Continue to Thommanun, Chaosay Tevoda Temples, Spean Thma (the ancient bridge), Takeo, famous Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdei Temples, terraces of Sras Srang and Prasat Kravan. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 18 : Departure from Siem Reap (B)

Depending on your flight schedule, some other parts of Angkor city can be visited: Phimean Akas Temples, Elephants and Leper King Terraces, famous Bayon complex. Transfer to the airport for departure.
