Day 01 : Hanoi/ Ho Chi Minh City - Danang - Hoi An (D)

Upon arrival in Danang airport you will be greeted by our guide and star a tour of Danang City visting Cham Museum where you can find out more about this ancient but advanced civilization and Marble Mountains, where you will have an opportunity to climb to the top and admire the temples that have a commanding view of the surrounding district. Continue to the delightful town of Hoi An, approximately 30km away. Check in hotel and have some free time to explore this ancient town. Enjoy dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 02 : Hoi An (B, L)

You enjoy a half day walking orientation tour of Hoi An including the Chinese Assembly Halls, the Japanese Bridge, Tan Ky House, Handicraft House. Following the tour there will be free time to discover what else Hoi An has to offer. You can visit a silk shop to have a new wardrobe tailored, cycle to lush villages or go to the beach about 6 kilometres away, or enjoy a cooking class in one of many restaurants, or simply relax on the beach. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 03 : Hoi An Cooking Class (B, L)

Come to the Hai Scout Cafe at 98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street to meet the Chef. First, we will have a first lesson of buying typical Vietnamese ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. After the market visit, you board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life.

On arrival, we explore the cooking school's herb and vegetable garden, before learning about some of Hoi An's and Vietnam's well-known dishes, which is the mix of Vietnam and Chinese cuisine. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours - each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge chef's, before you prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat exactly what we have cooked. Then our boat will pick you up at Red Bridge School for a river cruise along Hoi An River back to Hoi An Town. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 04 : Hoi An - Hue (B, D)

Leave Hoi An and continue our north-bound journey. The destination for today is the old imperial city of Hue. Along the way you will travel over the Hai Van Pass, stopping at the top to enjoy the stunning views north over Lang Co beach before arriving in Hue. This afternoon you embark on a tour of Hue city. A visit to Hue would not be complete without taking in attractions such as the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market. For dinner you will taste the finest cuisine of Hue at the Tropical Restaurant. Overnight in Hue.

Day 05 : Hue (B, D)

After breakfast you will board a private Dragon boat and cruise on the romantic Perfume River. This time we head out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be the focus of today's itinerary.

The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. You will have a great view of the Perfume River and the surrounding area. Thien Mu Pagoda is considered the unofficial symbol of Hue, and center of Buddhism in central Vietnam.

Continue to the ornate King Minh Mang's tomb. Rejoin car to visit King Tu Duc's tomb and King Khai Dinh Tomb. This evening you will enjoy Hue Royal style dinner. Overnight in Hue.

Day 06 : Hue Departure - Hanoi/ Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Today is departure day and time to bid farewell to your guide. You will be transferred to Phu Bai Airport for departure.
